2010 Week 1 Predictions

The Isaacson-Tarbell Postulate returns for another season.  As featured by ESPN's Tuesday Morning Quarterback, the ITP takes the guesswork out of predicting this week's winning teams, by employing this mindless formula: better record wins; in case of a tie, home team wins. The formula, which requires nothing but the current standings, correctly predicted the winning team 61% of the time in the 2009 season. 

Coming soon, just for fun, we will let the formula cascade forward to the end of the season each week and ridiculously predict the Super Bowl winner!  We've got some spreadsheet tweaking to do yet.
